"Ineffective People live day after day with unused potential" - Stephen R. Covey
Well.. Potential is defined as having or showing the capability to become or develop into something in the future, or having qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness.
But the thing about it is potential means absolutely nothing if you don't tap into that potential. Many of us are drowning in this sea of mediocrity and the saddest part is most people do not realize what they are worth and they doubt themselves. I often see this take over with those who aren't seeing themselves the way they should and the doubt and lack of confidence shows. These are the people that shudder under pressure and run from challenges and not realizing they are GREAT. the problem then ends up being a lack of confidence all around.
Let's really think about this for a moment, who told you that you were less than great? Who says you can't win the race? Who tells you that you will be broke forever or in the same place in a year?
I can't tell each of you WHO this person is in your life BUT, i can tell you who DOESN'T"T tell you that.... someone who believes in you.... someone who supports you...loves you... dreams WITH you. If you don't have these people in your inner circle its time to re-think who your friends are, its time to really sit back and assess who is really in your corner and who is trying to quietly clip your wings.
Surround yourself with positive energy and like minded people and if you doubt yourself, find someone who believes in you and stick with them, they will help push you harder and higher this year, when you wake up surrounded by filth, look at the company you keep. Don't allow toxic people to steal your potential and find someone who is going to lift you to the next level and ride the storms with you! YES these people do exist, get connected with other people by doing something different and step out of your comfort zone! Ask yourself if you really want to be an "ineffective person".... i I know i want to leave my mark on this earth and touch as many lives as I can because I want to pour into others and help them find the same confidence and strength that i searched for years for in the dark!
