The past few days my head has been quite cloudy and on top of that I have been having major technical difficulties and my laptop is completely done because it's literally falling apart and to some degree I felt it was a sign.
Guess what folks! It happens! Life is not always lollipops and rainbows BUT you must decide or WE must decide what our worth is and our self worth based on what WE see and nobody else.
I watched a video online the other day that basically to sum it up kinda said we are zombies to our touch screens and social media and I whole heartedly agreed. However to many this would seem like something I probably disagree with because of what I do and the fact that I am connected to the world via social media so much.
But the truth is we forget that social media isn't always the truth. I mean we ONLY see what the camera shows and furthermore only see what the person showing us WANTS us to see! You never know what is going on behind the scenes even tho what's on the outside appears to be one way.
The people who only have a few followers online most likely have way more friends in REAL life. Those who have THOUSANDS and tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands may have no one to say I love you at the end of the night so YES what we must see is that our self-worth cannot and SHOULD not be measured by likes and followers. These things don't mean anything! Hitler had thousands but JESUS had 12!
So when you are online and people don't like you or u follow you or pass over what you share or say it doesn't matter! YOU meaSure your own self worth and you live your life for yourself!
To those bullied on Facebook and Instagram and even YouTube. The ones the world makes fun of but they don't care because they know how they view themselves and the confidence is all they need! Do not conform! Because you were born to stand out!!! Love yourself! Continue to grow in yourself and enjoy the ride! Your life can be so much better when you love it for yourself because we only get once chance! It's not a rehearsal!
