Many times in life we make decisions and often don't follow thru. How many times have you decided to make a change, maybe new year's resolution and for a few days everything was great and THEN you ended up falling off..... You stopped after a few days or maybe a couple weeks and then it was.... "Oh I will get to it" ... And soon it became... "Well there's next year".....
So ask yourself is that acceptable? Are you content with the mediocrity so much to the point that you don't even want to commit to a change? Yes you may have been interested when you made the decision but ask yourself where you are now.....
Did you turn an interest into a commitment?
Did you make a plan for success or not and in turn planned to fail?
Plans are what else need in life..... Directions and instruction.... The cockier we get about what we know and don't need to know the farther we are from success. No one will succeed thinking they know it all. It takes a complete process and you must learn from the successors before you. If someone has already done it then you must learn from them. That's all it is.
I spoke with someone the other day wih respect to our business (one of our partners) and she mentioned that she felt it wasn't her business and that she had a a boss because we were constantly checking in. BUT we check in (in this business) to see if you need help and if things are going well for you etc. See MY personal success doesn't depend on others, I have over 40 people on my team and I only needed 24 to reach my initial goal and I still have et because people don't want it as bad as me.... BUT I keep going, month in and month out I do EXACTLY what is expected of me at least once a month sometimes twice a month so I will eventually get there when I find people like me who refuse to give up and are willing to learn all they need to in order to succeed at this business!!
So when you look at things you want to do decided if you are really committed to making it work OR if you are just interested and it's not going to become a compelling desire for you. In order for you to be successful at it, it MUST be a compelling desire followed by REPEATED immediate action!
Which do you choose?
